Reflection 2021

 

This is my reflection about my time in Tui class. I enjoyed doing my reflection because I think I am getting faster at typing.

Haiku Poem

In haiku poems the first sentence has to have 5 syllables. the second one has to have 7 syllables. the third one has have 5 syllables.  I enjoyed writing the sentences because it took a long time.    

 

Mr Blue Animation

We have been learning to write our own and Animation.   

My problem was that Mr Blue always gets in trouble, my solution was not to let Mr Blue be 

 

naughty.  I enjoyed making the picture because it was fun getting the shapes.

 

Free Choice Writing - Tree Hut Accident

We have been learning to write about a topic we have chosen.  My topic was about a tree hut falling on a person.  I enjoyed thinking about what to write.  I also enjoyed doing the picture.  Next time I will work on writing longer sentences.

Once upon a time there was once an old tree hut and  someone walked near it and it fell by them and one nearly got squashed. One did get squashed and their mum and dad were very sad. They moved their house on a big truck and lived near the boy who died.  Every night they would have tea by his grave. The boy who died was  11. His mum, dad and sister tried to move the tree but it was too heavy for them and they didn't want to use any machinery because they thought it was too mean. The way the tree fell was because the tree hut was hanging off the side of the tree and when the tree hut hit the ground it flew up in the air. 

 

Statistic Investigation

We are learning to:

• Pose investigative questions.

• Plan for and collect data.

• Display data in tally charts, pictographs and bar graphs.

• Make statements about data displays.

• Answer the investigative question.

What I found hard is asking everyone in the classroom. I learnt how to make a bar graph and I learnt what tally marks are. Blog Introduction

We have writing  about us so you can read about us. We have been writing about us so when you go to read our blog posts you know a little about who we are.

My name is Caden. I like reading because it is fun. My pet’s names are Mischief, Sprinkles, Coby, Bella and Fidget. They are cats and horses. I like to go hunting with dad. I have caught a fish and a deer. I like to go to Lake Kaniere with the boat. I have a sister and her name is     Olivia. I am seven. My class is Ruma Tui and I am in Year 3. My favourite place to play at school is in the fort  because there are heaps of trees around me and in the mud at the scrap metal yard. 

I like to play with my friends. My friends are Olly, Mateus and Tasman. I like travelling to Christchurch because I get to sit down. My mum and dad’s names are Bevan and Tracy.

Art term 1

 

This is our art .We took a photo of us and printed it out and then cut it out and then panted a piece of paper and then glued the picture of us on the piece of paper. We wrote something about us and glued it on the paper. It was fun. I realy liked it.
